From Jamaica's kitchens to Orlando's tables.
Jamaican-born. Food Network featured. Cooking for real families and real events.
Hi, I'm Kim Alexander; the Jamaican-born chef and creator behind HomeCookVibe, a Top 7 finalist on Food Network's 100 Cooks, and author of the cookbook Stay for Dinner.
I grew up in Jamaica, watching my grandmother cook from the heart at the stove; bold seasoning, fresh ingredients, and food made to bring people together. That's the foundation everything I do is built on.
What started as sharing recipes online grew into something much bigger: a salmon rotini video that crossed 17 million views, a spot competing on national television, and a cookbook, Stay for Dinner, that brought those same recipes into homes everywhere.

Today, HomeCookVibe is how I bring that same Caribbean-rooted, made-with-love cooking to Central Florida; in three ways:
Private catering for weddings, corporate events, and celebrations across Orlando and Central Florida; Caribbean-inspired platters, hors d'oeuvres, and full-service menus
Our Signature Catering Pan is where most guests start; jerk chicken, pimento-crusted steak, garlic butter shrimp, mogul wings, and creamy Rasta pasta on one tray, available as a Date Night size for two or the full Signature for four to five.
Fresh weekly meal prep, delivered or ready for pickup, for local families who want real food without the work of a full dinner
Recipes and meal systems for home cooks anywhere, including 250+ free recipes on HomeCookBlog, my free viral salmon rotini recipe, and the Stay for Dinner cookbook
Every dish still carries the same thing my grandmother's kitchen had: bold flavor, real ingredients, and food made for the people around the table.
Whether you're booking us for your next event, ordering dinner for your family this week, or just here for the recipes; welcome to HomeCookVibe.
